Soyak Construction, the founder company of Soyak Group, has so far accomplished many successful projects both in domestic and at abroad. Established in 1961, the company has maintained its stable development in the domestic construction sector, and starting from 1975 it has become one of the leading construction companies operating at abroad.
Soyak Construction has become a corporate player of the sector with the construction of military facility projects undertaken at Tuzla, Adapazarı and Samandıra regions, and the Taksim Emergency Hospital with 500-bed capacity in Taksim during the foundation process of the company. Soyak Göztepe Housing Development developed in 1986 has become an important milestone in the sector as the first mass housing project of the private sector with 1.536 houses. In addition to tens of thousands of houses and social facilities throughout its history of 54 years, Soyak Construction has contributed significantly to the development of Turkey with the construction of factories, airport and office buildings. As of the end of 2010, the total usage area of the projects carried out by the Company in Turkey has reached to 2.080.000 m2.
Soyak Construction's activities at abroad include Libya, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Russia, Kazakhstan and Macedonia. Soyak Construction started its operations abroad in Libya and Benghazi in 1975, and continued with Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Kazakhstan. The total value of these works has reached to approximately US$ 885 million by the end of 2014.
Carrying out a wide range of construction operations covering house, factory, hospital, school and office buildings, the total usage area of the buildings constructed by the company at abroad has reached to 1.794.000 m2 as of the end of 2013.
In addition to the construction sector, Soyak Construction has also operated in the pickling and mining sector between 1987 and 2000, and has carried out 133.685.000 m3 of pickling and open coal mining operations in Soma, Tunçbilek and Çan basins of the Turkish Coal Enterprises.
Standing out with the importance it attaches to the quality management policies, Soyak Construction received ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certificate in January 2003. With a significant increase in its international recognition during the last decade, the company ranked 161th in "The Top 225 International Contractors List" and 183rd in "The Top 225 Global Contractors" list, where only give companies in Turkey ranked, of the Engineering News Record (ENR) in 2006. Soyak Construction has also received the National Achievement Award for Foreign Contracting Services in 2007 as it was among 22 companies that contributed in making the Turkish Construction sector rank third globally.
Soyak Construction has brought its national and international experience in to the fields of investment, development, project and construction management.
Soyak Construction carried out the project coordination and construction management of the Soyak Kristalkule Project developed by Soyak between 2011 and 2014. Soyak Kristalkule ranked 7th among the top 10 skyscrapers in the world on the Emporis Skyscrapers 2014 list, where the New York World Trade Center ranked 4th. Soyak Kristalkule received an architectural design award at "The International Architecture Awards 2016" organized by Chicago Athenaeum to select the best architectural project that combines design and functionality internationally.
Soyak Göztepe Office Project with A class features, neighboring to Soyak Göztepe Housing Development which is Turkey's first big mass housing project carried out by the private sector, is among the ongoing projects of Soyak Construction.
